About Mintor Pet Care

Professional pet grooming tools, manufactured for your brand

Mintor Pet Care supplies professional pet grooming tools and pet-care essentials to salons, retailers, distributors and private-label brands. We are a manufacturing and export partner, not a retail shop: our catalogue is built for businesses that need consistent specification, repeatable quality and their own name on the product.

If you are shopping for your own pet, our retail range is at Pawkin — please shop there. If you are sourcing for a business, you are in the right place.

What we make

Our range covers roughly 330 catalogue items across seven product families:

  • Grooming shears and kits — straight, curved, thinning, chunker, fishbone
  • and texturizing shears, including left-handed models, plus multi-piece kits.
  • Combs and brushes — slicker brushes, rake and dematting combs, flea combs,
  • stripping knives and double-sided combs, in configurable tooth counts and
  • handle styles.
  • Electric clippers — two-speed and LCD-display models with adjustable blades.
  • Nail care — clippers, scissors, files and LED-illuminated clippers.
  • Bathing and coat care — bath brushes, massagers, gloves and scrubbers.
  • Leashes and harnesses — rope leads, no-pull harnesses and character
  • harness sets in Oxford fabric, canvas and cotton rope.
  • Bowls, feeders and everyday essentials — stainless steel bowls, elevated
  • feeders, slow feeders, litter boxes, toys and travel accessories.

The materials behind the range

Most of our cutting tools are made in three steel grades, and we will tell you which one a product uses rather than leaving you to guess:

Grade What it is used for
440C Our most widely used shear steel. Hard, corrosion-resistant, holds an edge well — the default choice for professional salon shears.
9CR A cost-effective stainless grade for volume ranges and entry-level professional lines.
VG10 Our premium grade, for buyers who need the highest edge retention and are prepared to pay for it.

Finishes are available in matte or polished. Soft goods use EVA, Oxford fabric, canvas, cotton rope, natural wool and silicone.

Every product page lists the specification we hold for it — steel grade, tool length, thinning ratio, tooth count, material, finish, colour and catalogue reference — so you can compare options before you enquire.

Working with Mintor

We keep the process simple and explicit. It has four steps:

1. You tell us what you need. Products, quantities, destination and any branding requirements. 2. We confirm the detail. Specification, minimum order quantity, sample arrangements, packaging and delivery. 3. You approve a sample. Nothing goes into production until you have signed off the actual product. 4. We ship. Production takes 15–30 days depending on the product and the branding work involved. Delivery arrangements are agreed with you before production starts, not after.

Because pricing depends on specification, quantity and destination, we quote per project rather than publishing list prices. That is deliberate: it lets us give you an accurate number instead of a headline that changes at the sample stage.

Manufacturing to your brand

We produce goods that carry our customers’ names, not ours. Products in our current catalogue ship with brand markings from the businesses we manufacture for, which is exactly what OEM supply looks like. Private-label work we handle includes:

  • logo application on the tool and on the packaging card
  • colour and finish selection within the available options
  • retail-ready packaging and artwork coordination
  • specification confirmation against a signed sample

We are not limited to branding what already exists in the catalogue. We can develop new tooling and new designs, provided you can supply drawings. If you have a product in mind that we do not currently make, send the drawing and we will tell you what is involved — including whether it is genuinely a better route than adapting something already in the range.

Where we are

We have been manufacturing pet grooming tools for 15 years, from a 3,000 m² facility in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China, with a team of 50 people.

That combination matters more than it sounds. Fifteen years means we have already made the mistakes that new suppliers make on a buyer’s first order. Fifty people in 3,000 m² is a size that can take on a private-label programme without subcontracting the parts that decide quality — the grinding and finishing of a shear cannot be outsourced without the edge suffering for it.

Certifications

We hold CE, FCC and BSCI.

BSCI is the one that matters most to most buyers: it is a social-compliance audit covering working conditions, hours and safety, and it is what larger retailers require before they will place an order. If your compliance team needs the audit report before a first order, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will send it.

CE covers our products for the European market, and FCC applies to our electrical range. Ask us which mark applies to the specific products you are considering — the answer differs between a pair of shears and an electric clipper, and we would rather confirm it than let you assume.

Where our products already sell

Our tools ship to the United States (excluding California), New Zealand, Australia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

That list is worth reading carefully if you are sourcing for one of those markets, because it tells you we have already handled the paperwork, the plug standards and the labelling conventions for them. If you are buying for a market we do not yet serve, we will tell you that plainly instead of pretending otherwise.
