Your name on the tool and on the card
Mintor Pet Care manufactures pet grooming tools for businesses that sell under their own brand. We already produce goods carrying our customers’ markings — not ours — and this page explains what that involves.
What private label covers
Logo application. On the tool itself and on the packaging card. The options available depend on the product: some tools take a stamped or etched mark cleanly, others are better suited to printed application.
Colour and finish. Finishes are available in matte or polished, and colour options vary by product. Products in our catalogue show the colours currently produced, including black, gold, green, olive green, orange, pink and rose red.
Packaging. Retail-ready packaging for salons and pet stores, with artwork coordination. We will confirm what the chosen product supports before you commit to a design.
Specification control. Steel grade (440C, 9CR or VG10), tool length, thinning ratio, tooth count, material and weight are all listed per product, so you know exactly what you are branding.
How a private-label project runs
1. Product selection. Choose the tools, materials and finish you want to explore. Existing catalogue items are the fastest route; specification changes take longer and need confirming. 2. Your brand, considered. We discuss logo placement, colours and packaging artwork together. 3. Sample approval. You review the agreed specification — the actual physical sample — before anything is confirmed for production. 4. Production and delivery. Delivery arrangements are agreed before production starts.
What we need from you
- the product or products you want to brand
- an estimated quantity per item
- how you want your logo applied, and on what
- your packaging requirements, if any
- your destination country
Minimum order quantities depend on the product and on the branding or packaging you need, so we confirm them per item rather than quoting a single figure.
Can you make something that isn’t in your catalogue?
Yes — we can develop new tooling and new designs. What we need from you is a drawing: dimensions, materials, tolerances and the finish you want. From that we can tell you what is involved, what it will cost, and how long it will take.
Two honest caveats. First, new tooling carries setup cost and a longer timeline than branding an existing product, and for many buyers an adapted catalogue item is the better commercial decision — we will say so if that is the case. Second, we quote new development per project, because the cost depends entirely on the part.
Compliance for your market
We hold CE and FCC, and we are BSCI audited. BSCI is the audit most often requested by larger retailers before a first order, covering working conditions, hours and safety.
Which mark applies to your order depends on the product: CE and FCC are relevant to our electrical range, while BSCI applies to the business as a whole. Tell us the market you are selling into and we will confirm exactly which documentation we can supply for the specific products — and tell you plainly if something is not available rather than leaving you to discover it at customs.
