Nail Care
12 items for pet nail care, spanning clippers, scissors, files and illuminated tools.
Clippers. Guillotine and plier-style clippers with safety guards, in large and medium sizes, with colour options including olive green, black, blue and pink. Plier-style models with a safety guard are the better choice for nervous owners; the guard limits how much of the nail can be taken in one cut.
LED clippers. Two illuminated models (orange and white) that light the quick so the nail can be cut with more confidence. This is an easy premium upgrade for a retail range, and it is a genuine differentiator on a shelf.
Scissors and files. Nail scissors with a semi-circular blade, and dual-sided nail files with a non-slip grip. Small, cheap to ship, and they sell as add-ons to a clipper.
Why this range works for wholesale. Nail care is a consumable-adjacent category — owners replace clippers, blunt files and lose scissors. It has a low unit cost, ships in small volume, and pairs naturally with grooming shears and combs to fill out an order.

How to specify nail care products
Clipper mechanism. Guillotine clippers enclose the nail in a ring and cut from the outside in; plier-style clippers cut from two sides like scissors. Guillotine models suit smaller nails and are easier for inexperienced users, while plier-style clippers handle thicker nails on larger dogs. Both are in our range, so the choice is yours rather than ours.
Safety guards. A guard limits how much nail can enter the blade in one cut, which reduces the risk of cutting the quick. For a retail range sold to ordinary owners, guards reduce complaints and returns. For professional salon supply they matter less, because a groomer cuts to the quick deliberately.
Size designation. Our clippers are listed in large and medium. Size should follow the animals a customer grooms, not the customer’s hand size, and both should be stocked if the range serves mixed breeds.
LED illumination. Two clipper models include an LED that lights the nail during the cut. The quick is far easier to see with transmitted light, which makes this a genuine functional upgrade rather than a marketing feature. It supports a higher price point than a standard clipper, and it is the clearest differentiator available in this category.
Files and scissors. Dual-sided nail files with a non-slip grip, and nail scissors with a semi-circular blade for curved nails, complete the range. These are low-cost items that attach naturally to a clipper sale.
What buyers get wrong
Underestimating the consumable side. Files blunt, scissors go missing, and clippers are replaced when the blade dulls — so this category reorders more often than its low unit price suggests. Buyers who treat it as a one-off purchase reorder sooner than they planned.
The second mistake is stocking a single size. Large and medium clippers serve different dogs, and swapping a customer to the wrong size is how a retail range loses credibility.
